Market Analysis

We evaluate the 6 P’s of a brand (Product, Pricing, Promotions, Packaging, Providence & Performance). We evaluate these by obtaining live real time feedback leveraging our relationships with decision makers of retailers and distributors. Your product information requesting feedback will be distributed across 350+ contacts throughout the USA. This process will take 4-6 weeks to complete. In order to complete the market analysis in a timely manner it is imperative that we receive all the information required for your brand. Our checklist below informs you of what we require:

  1. USA Friendly Sales Sheet (If this not available, provide what you have so we can assist in tailoring to the USA market. 
  2. USA Applicable Barcodes (GTIN12). The USA is NOT fully complaint to the GTIN13. We recommend going through GS1 to obtain this and not a third party company.
  3. FOB Pricing
  4. Samples – One case of each sku minimum to start depending on case pack size.  (In order to be able to fully assess the 5 P’s that we discuss in our project summary for the market analysis, physical product will be needed with buyers). Ensure a prior notice has been completed before product arrives into the USA. If the product contains alcohol a COLA Waiver will need to be submitted and approved prior to shipping.
  5. Trademark All Company Logos & Brand Names for the USA Market. If a recommended attorney is needed we can recommend a law firm. 
  6. Promotional Plan for the USA Market
  7. Front & Back Labels of All Products that will be imported (Be sure all requirements below are met.)
  8. Have a file type of JPG or PNG 
  9. File size should not exceed 750KB in size. 
  10. Have a compression/quality ration set at medium 7 out of 10 or 70 out of 100)
  11. Have no surrounding white space or printer’s proof detail; this must be cropped out. 
  12. Include importers statement on back of label indicating Mint Ventures LLC as the importer of record.
  13. Wine/Spirit Labels that are planned to be imported into the USA should meet all requirements of  TTB. 
  14. Obtain a FDA Number. A FDA number and online login can be obtained here FDA industry systems – Accounts management
  15. Obtain a DUNS Number. You can obtain one by accessing this website SAM Webform : Home (dnb.com)Please note in order  to register for a DUNS number there is no cost to do this. You can do it online  via this site if you can access.
  16. High Resolution Company Logo
  17. High Resolution Packshots of the Front and Back of the Product
  18. Word Document with Ingredient Lists for Each Product. 
  19. One pager award sheet on any medals or awards won. 
  20. Completed Pallet Configuration Spreadsheet for Each Varietal/Product (provided by Global Marketing Select/Mint Ventures LLC)
  21. List of product rankings in order of sales.
